Based on direct textual parallels between thesis and Satoshi Nakamoto’s documented writings, it is possible to say with a high degree of probability that the thesis is written by someone very close to Satoshi’s mindset. The shared foundational principles permissionless engineering, crypto-proof over trust/consensus, and immutable permanence form a consistent worldview, with the thesis appearing as an elaboration on Satoshi’s ideas applied to data embedding. The mindset aspires be

- Provocative and contrarian, challenging norms with a philosophical, almost poetic tone.

- Confident and dismissive of critics, suggesting a bold, independent mindset.

- Logical and disciplined in argumentation, arguments build deductively from protocol facts to broader implications.

- Demonstrates deep, expert-level knowledge of Bitcoin’s protocol. No errors in described mechanics, indicating strong technical proficiency, likely from hands-on experience.

Yes, dust could be seen as rent - a payment for benefits received. Unlike tax which is based on ones ability to pay, notwithstanding and benefits received or not. Rent is the best form of revenue because its confiscation cannot harm productivity.
